SPAR-Key: Processing SPARQL-Fulltext Queries to Solve Jeopardy! Clues

چکیده
We describe our SPAR-Key query engine that implements indexing, ranking, and query processing techniques to run a new kind of SPARQL-fulltext queries that were provided in the context of the INEX 2013 Jeopardy Task.

Design and Evaluation of an IR-Benchmark for SPARQL Fulltext Queries
In this thesis, we design a new IR-benchmark that aims to bridge the prevailing gap between traditional keyword-based retrieval techniques and semantic web-based retrieval techniques. We present a unique, entity-centric data collection, coined Wikipedia-LOD, that aims to combine the benefits of both text-oriented and structured retrieval settings. This collection combines RDF data from DBpedia ...

We describe the indexing, ranking, and query processing techniques we implemented in order to process a new kind of SPARQL-fulltext queries that were provided in the context of the INEX 2012 Jeopardy task.
متن کاملBenchmarking Fulltext Search Performance of RDF Stores
More and more applications use the RDF framework as their data model and RDF stores to index and retrieve their data. Many of these applications require both structured queries as well as fulltext search. SPARQL addresses the first requirement in a standardized way, while fulltext search is provided by store-specific implementations. RDF benchmarks enable developers to compare structured query ...

In this domain, as in many others, we need to support non-expert users in composing queries over a complex and ...
متن کاملSCRY: Extending SPARQL with Custom Data Processing Methods for the Life Sciences
An ever-growing amount of life science databases are (partially) exposed as RDF graphs (e.g. UniProt, TCGA, DisGeNET, Human Protein Atlas), complementing traditional methods to disseminate biodata. The SPARQL query language provides a powerful tool to rapidly retrieve and integrate this data. However, the inability to incorporate custom data processing methods in SPARQL queries inhibits its app...
